What you can expect
The course begins with workshops on career opportunities, next steps, and course breakdown (Day 1), followed by sessions to build workplace skills like confidence, resilience, and identifying strengths and weaknesses (Day 2). CV skills are covered on Day 3.
From Day 4 onwards, the focus shifts to filmmaking: exploring documentary types, brainstorming film ideas, and understanding social media strategies for promotion. Technical training in camera work and sound recording is also included on Days 4 and 5.
Day 6 is dedicated to filming, while Days 7–8 focus on editing techniques, organising footage, and finalising the documentary for group screening.
